Yes folks. I've been away for a few weeks but I'm back on track. I hope. Forgot to leave a sign saying "On Vacation" or "Will Re-open soon" or "Back from lunch at..." :) Mala mia...
Back to chatting about food is all that matters. So in a day or two I'll post up a visit to one of Puerto Rico's 336545267832 "BBQ Chicken" places.
Now here lies the debate of BBQ and PR. Our BBQ chicken really ain't BBQ. I still haven't figured out WHY it's called BBQ. except that maybe back in the day, the Rotisserie, I mean PR BBQ Chickens, were cooked over an open flame. But just an open flame don't make food BBQ. BBQ, to most, involves smoke (as in the smoke flavoring from wood). But we'll see. Our chicken labeled BBQ is actually just Rotisserie Chicken, which is a cooking method all on its own. As is BBQ.
But regardless if it is or isn't real BBQ, we all know it's delicious!!! Or at least it usually is delicious.
So heads up, we're back.
¡Buen provecho!
